Overview
Sunrise School is a nurturing environment where learning extends beyond the classroom. Our program blends academics with therapies and real-world experiences to help students develop communication, social, and adaptive skills. From vocational training to community outings, every opportunity is designed to foster independence and confidence. Families are active partners in the process, ensuring that each student’s goals reflect their unique strengths and needs. At Sunrise, growth happens in every moment—academic, social, and personal.
Academics & Curriculum
Sunrise uses the Unique Learning System to deliver standards-aligned instruction adapted for students with extensive support needs. Core areas include academics, health, social skills, and community safety, taught through interactive and evidence-based methods. Classrooms follow TEACCH principles to create structured, supportive environments. Students practice skills through community-based instruction and vocational experiences, reinforcing learning in authentic settings. Our goal is to provide consistent, high-quality instruction that leads to greater independence.
