REACH

REACH is an afterschool mental health service that helps children who benefit from unique programming thrive at home, in school, and in the community. Through structured, therapeutic activities—like sports, arts, leadership, and team building—our dedicated staff foster social skills, emotional regulation, and problem-solving. Families are active partners, and services include individual, group, and family therapy, plus psychiatric support.

*Early Psychosis-Los Angeles

EPI-LA

EPI-LA (formerly known as PIER) provides early intervention for adolescents and young adults (ages 12–25) who are clinically at high risk for psychosis. Through education, assessment, and evidence-based treatment—including therapy, family support, and medication management—we aim to detect symptoms early, prevent progression, and empower families and communities to recognize warning signs and connect youth to care before serious consequences occur.

MST*

*Multisystemic Therapy

MST provides 5 months of intensive, home-based services for youth (ages 12-17) who have been incarcerated or are at risk of law enforcement involvement. This model works across the interconnected systems in a young person’s life—family, school, peers, and community—to address the underlying causes of behavioral challenges. Our therapists partner closely with families to strengthen relationships and improve school performance.

TBS*

*Therapeutic Behavioral Services

TBS provides short-term, intensive support for youth under 21 who struggle with severe behavioral challenges. Working alongside traditional mental health services, TBS helps stabilize behaviors, strengthen coping skills, and support caregivers to prevent placement disruption and avoid higher levels of care. Services are individualized and focused on keeping youth safe and successful in their homes and communities.

Through the Community Grant Funds (CGF), we offer general outpatient therapy services with broad applicability throughout the community. This includes individual therapy, family therapy, case management and psychiatric support.

CalWORKS*

*Mental health services for adults

CalWORKs helps parents and caregivers overcome mental health barriers to employment. In partnership with LA County’s Welfare-to-Work Program, we provide therapy, psychiatric support, life skills training, and supported employment services—from job placement to coaching. Our goal is to empower families to achieve stability and economic self-sufficiency through integrated, evidence-based care.

MAT*

*Multidisciplinary Assessment Team

MAT is a collaboration between the Department of Children & Family Services (DCFS) and the Department of Mental Health (DMH) designed to ensure the immediate and comprehensive assessment of children entering out-of-home placement.

Wraparound Services*

An innovative program designed to maintain children in their homes by providing individualized, comprehensive supports and services, with a focus on family empowerment. This program provides a higher level of care after escalation from the county.
