A generous $100,000 gift from the S.H. Ho Foundation, made possible through Help Group Board Member and Investment Chair Aaron Coleman’s strong belief in and commitment to Help Group’s mission, will support our speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, mental health counseling, and family support services — interventions that help individuals build communication skills, emotional resilience, independence, and meaningful connections with the world around them. These services are often among the most difficult to financially sustain, making philanthropic partnership critical to ensuring continued access to care.
“We are deeply grateful to the S.H. Ho Foundation for this extraordinary investment in the individuals and families we serve,” said Susan Berman, PhD, Chief Executive Officer of Help Group. “We are also sincerely thankful to Aaron Coleman for helping cultivate this meaningful partnership. Every day, we witness the life-changing impact that specialized therapies and compassionate mental health services can have on a child’s confidence, a family’s stability, and a person’s ability to thrive. This gift will help ensure that individuals and families continue to receive the essential care and therapeutic support they need, particularly in areas where demand far exceeds available resources.”
The gift reflects a shared commitment to ensuring vulnerable children, adults and families have access to services that foster stability, growth, and hope.
“This is much more than philanthropic support,” said Howard Tenenbaum, Chair of Help Group’s Board of Directors. “It is an investment in hope and human potential. The S.H. Ho Foundation recognizes the profound importance of these therapeutic and mental health services and the challenges many organizations face in sustaining them. We are honored by their partnership and belief in our mission.”
“We are honored to support Help Group and the extraordinary work they do each day,” said David L. Ho of the S.H. Ho Foundation. “Their compassionate and comprehensive approach to care is making a lasting difference for so many individuals and families, and we are proud to help sustain services that provide meaningful and enduring impact.”
Help Group extends its deepest appreciation to the S.H. Ho Foundation for its generosity and visionary support. Through partnerships like this, the organization continues to advance its mission of ensuring that every individual and family has access to the care, resources, and opportunities needed to thrive.
