Prevention & Aftercare is a family-strengthening program designed to reduce child maltreatment and build resilience. Serving families with children under 18, we provide personalized support, resources, and activities that promote safety, stability, and connection. Our goal is simple: to help families thrive by increasing protective factors and creating pathways to long-term well-being.

Prevention & Aftercare Helps

Available to families with children under 18 living in the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, and West Los Angeles.

Focuses on increasing protective factors like social connections and parental resilience.

Offers individualized case navigation to connect families with community resources.

Provides educational parent workshops, parent classes, and family-friendly activities to increase parental mastery and to strengthen family bonds.

Prevention & Aftercare offers a wide range of services tailored to each family’s needs. Our individualized case navigation helps families access resources for housing, healthcare, education, and more. Parent workshops and support groups cover topics such as child development, mental health, substance use, and positive parenting strategies. Family-friendly activities, including drumming, art, and yoga, create opportunities for families to bond and build resilience together.
