Something new has opened on Abbot Kinney Boulevard.
Limitless by Help Group is a community art space celebrating the creativity and perspectives of neurodivergent artists. Located in the heart of Venice, the gallery brings together original artwork by artists from Help Group and the wider community, free hands-on art activities, and a curated collection of art-inspired goods—all in a welcoming space designed to explore, create and connect.
The space was generously donated by Help Group Board Chair Howard Tenenbaum, helping bring to life a place where neurodivergent artists can share their work and the community can experience creativity in all its forms.
Why Limitless?
At Help Group, we see every day how the arts can create opportunities for self-expression, exploration and connection. Limitless grew from that belief—and from a desire to create a space where neurodivergent artists of all ages and backgrounds can share their work and perspectives with the wider community.
“Limitless is an extraordinary opportunity to share the creativity and inner lives of neurodivergent artists,” said Dr. Susan Berman, President and CEO of Help Group. “Some may find it difficult to communicate or connect in traditional ways, but through art, they reveal their hopes, emotions, imagination and unique ways of seeing the world. Their work reminds us that although we may experience and express ourselves differently, at our core, we share the same need to be seen, heard, and understood.”
Meet the Artists
The art at Limitless is as individual as the artists themselves, offering glimpses into their interests, imaginations, experiences and hopes for the future.
For 14-year-old Noah R., New York City represents a dream for the future. His watercolor and ink painting, I <3 NY, depicts the city where he hopes to one day perform on Broadway.
“I want to become an actor and perform on Broadway, and maybe even go on tour if I feel ready. I love New York City because of its bright lights and amazing views of the city.”

For 17-year-old Stevie A., Wrapped Around Time explores the uncertainty of growing up while still discovering who she wants to become.
“My room is a reflection of my mind—messy, overwhelming, and filled with all the things I love: art, music, crafts, and ideas. I’m 17, with no idea what I want to do or who I want to become. I’m still becoming someone, so why won’t time wait for me? Maybe an artist, a nail tech, or a musician? Time keeps ticking while I try to figure it out.”

In Underlying Truths, 17-year-old Max G. brings characters and symbols from two of his own stories onto the canvas.
“My painting shows me with a stream of purple coming from a book, surrounded by symbols from two of my favorite stories. The Golden Parrot is about a girl searching for a legendary golden parrot and finding family through friendship. Akari Mosi follows a girl who discovers she can summon purple fire and learns to love who she is, no matter what she can do or become.”

These are just a few of the artists and stories visitors can discover at Limitless, with work from current Help Group students, alumni and neurodivergent artists from the wider community.
Reflecting on the space that now gives these artists a public platform, Dr. Berman added, “I am deeply grateful to our Board Chair, Howard Tenenbaum, whose extraordinary generosity in providing this space has made it possible for these remarkable artists and their voices to reach a wider audience.”

Limitless isn’t only a place to look at art. It’s a place to make it, too.
Visitors of all ages are invited to pull up a chair and create something of their own through free, walk-in art activities, with projects ranging from bracelet making and sun printing to plant monoprinting and more.
Come with your family, bring a friend, make it a date, or simply stop in while exploring Abbot Kinney.
The gallery also features original artwork available for purchase alongside prints, greeting cards, apparel, accessories and other art-inspired goods.
Every purchase, donation and art activity helps support arts education across Help Group schools and creates more opportunities for neurodivergent artists.
