Overview

This full-time internship is designed to prepare doctoral students for the varied responsibilities of a practicing psychologist. Interns gain experience in assessment and intervention with children, adolescents, and families, while also exploring roles in consultation, supervision, program development, and research. Training occurs across multiple settings, including outpatient clinics, non-public schools, day-treatment programs, and residential care. Interns receive intensive clinical supervision focused on case conceptualization, treatment planning, and evidence-based practices such as CBT, behavioral interventions, and play therapy. Cultural competence is woven throughout the program, supported by monthly seminars and a multidisciplinary team approach.
