Help Group’s Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Clinical Psychology offers an intensive, one-year advanced training experience for emerging psychologists committed to working with autistic and neurodivergent individuals. As one of the nation’s largest nonprofit organizations serving youth with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental differences,Help Group provides fellows with exceptional clinical breadth, multidisciplinary collaboration, and opportunities to develop expertise across assessment, intervention, research, and program innovation. Overview

The Autism Spectrum Disorder Post-Doctoral Fellowship offers advanced training in autism-focused assessment and intervention for children and adolescents. Fellows gain expertise in evidence-based treatments through individual, family, and group therapy, while also conducting intake evaluations and comprehensive psychological assessments as part of multidisciplinary teams. Beyond clinical work, fellows engage in applied research, program evaluation, and innovation across Help Group’s network of schools and programs, develop leadership skills through supervision and community education, and participate in workshops and public speaking. This immersive year fosters clinical expertise, cultural humility, and professional identity, preparing graduates for licensure and impactful careers in academic, clinical, and community settings.
